Hi, my name is Jared Winkler. I am a photographer based in Nebraska that loves to get to the rural parts of the Midwest. I love capturing Nebraska and the surrounding areas, to document the state as it is now. The world is always changing and what is here today, may not be tomorrow. I would like to capture the story before it disappears.
The word Nebraska comes from the Otoe and Omaha tribes description of the Platte river, meaning "Flat Water."
